My name is Cristina and I'm your Dog Trainer.

 

I have loved dogs since I was a young girl but it wasn't until I was older and rescued my first dog that I discovered a passion for caring and training dogs.  The love that I felt for my rescue opened my eyes to all the dogs in need of love, homes and most importantly training.  This led me to volunteer at the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation (lindablairworldheart.org) where I worked to train dogs and find loving homes for them.  This positive experience at the Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation reinforced my passion and ultimately resulted in attending Animal Behavior College and receiving my certification in 2010.  Upon receiving my certification I started conducting private training sessions but quickly realized that effective training requires engagement from the dog and more importantly the owners.  This new knowledge steered me to one of the largest pet companies, Petsmart, where I worked for the last 3 years and 2 years teaching group classes with Centinela Feed.  I currently teach group classes at Pet Food Express in Pasadena for puppies and dog of all ages

 

Independently, my Husband and I continues to offer private/group classes, dog walking, check-ins and specialize in senior dog care.

We have a Daughter Josephine (4 years old), Elias (7 mo.) and six dogs:  Benny a 10 year old boxer mix, Bailey a 6 year old Golden Retriever, Winston a 6 year old Longhaired Mini Dachshund, Oliver a 4 year old Dachshund mix and our newest is Sophie a 12 year old Shih Tzu & Henrietta a 11 yr old English Retriever.  We are true “dog lovers” with a passion for helping with dog behavior and strengthening the relationship between dogs and their owners.
